Creative Arrangements, based in Michigan and owned by Terry and Becky McCloskey, is a relatively new florist that grew very quickly from one to three shops in the first six months. Their focus is on providing outstanding customer service through quality, variety and uniqueness. They have used FloristWare since they first opened their first store.
We love being to input our customer data into FloristWare to do mass mailings/emails on specials, or to remind a customer when they have a special event such as a birthday or anniversary coming up - this is a great opportunity to provide outstanding service to customers and potentially make a sale.
We find the accounting feature extremely easy to use and it makes tracking our sales very simple. We have several accounts that are invoiced monthly and it's a breeze to keep them organized with FloristWare.
The system is very easy to learn and use - when seasonal help comes in for the holidays, it's easy to train them on FloristWare and having the inventory and pricing in place means they can check prices with the click of a button. It's so quick and easy to input new products, we frequently have our 16 year old daughter input this data!
We use the Point System - our "Frequent Buyer Program" - and give our customers discounts when they reach a certain point goal.
We have chosen to use FloristWare exclusively because of the customer service, the ease of using the program, and the prompt customer service when we needed assistance. Our only other experience with other POS systems is XXX, but our computer network was too advanced for them. XXX also wanted us to buy their complete system (to include PC, POS, card reader, etc.) which was very expensive.
Other POS systems have higher monthly rates, and nickel and dime you to death. FloristWare has a simple flat monthly rate, no gimmicks, nothing to buy, and works with most existing systems, older or advanced.
